A lot has been changing lately...

This has been a whirlwind of a last few months...though very fun - and exhausting. Back in August, Brian and I got married in a beautiful ceremony in Gig Harbor. It had to have been one of the hottest days of the summer (or at least I thought it was as I was cinched up in my gown) which made for a few close calls on the passing out bit. Luckily everyone made it through the ceremony fine despite some heavy waterworks from me and one of my maids of honor as we cried the entire way through the ceremony. From there we had a fun filled reception at the yacht club. I hear the food was excellent (can't go wrong with bbq!) - unfortunately I didn't get to eat much of it.

The following day we had a gift opening brunch and later another reception with my father at Temple Theather (who unfortunately was not able to attend my actual wedding). The second reception was fun as some of the members of my wedding party came and we all got dressed back up and took pictures with my dad and his side of the family. It was a lovely event.

Wedding pictures will be posted soon...

As if getting married weren't enough, Brian and I just happed upon a house in the harbor that we absolutely fell in love with. As we were two weeks away from the wedding and all of our time was being spent preparing for that, we decided not to jump into buying another house...we wanted to take some time to think about it and if it was still available after the weekend 'then it's meant to be...blah blah blah' and we'd put an offer in on the house. Well...you guessed it...it was available. So now Aug 1st and we were in the midst of planning for our wedding in the next two weeks, taking part in wedding showers, bachelor parties, and alld the weddingness of the upcoming occasion...and buying a house. Oh don't forget, we now had to find renters for the house I previously owned and was now moving out of in 3 weeks.

Well needless to say, it all came together. We bought the house, found renters, got married, and moved into our new house which I ABSOLUTELY love. (though i'll admit that I'm not a huge fan of my 2 hour commute to work everyday).  Stay tuned as I'll be posting house pictures soon as well.
